Frequently asked questions
- Does the route follow the roads?
- No. Points are joined by straight segments, so add points along bends and junctions to trace roads and trails closely. This keeps the tool fully private with no external routing server.
- Which apps and devices accept the file?
- GPX is supported almost everywhere: Garmin Connect, Komoot, Strava, Wahoo, Coros and most mapping or training apps can import it as a route or course.
- Does the route include elevation?
- Drawn points have no elevation. Many apps add elevation from their own map data when you import the route.
- Are my routes uploaded to a server?
- No. Everything runs in your browser. Your route never leaves your device until you download it.
